Dr. Sandy Glasson, M.D.

Dr. Sandy Glasson, M.D.

Dr. Sandra Glasson attended the University of Virginia for her undergraduate education in Computer Science/Electrical Engineering. She later attended medical school at Duke University where she received her Doctor of Medicine and was fellowship trained in Pediatric Orthopedics and Sports Medicine. She has been practicing for 24 years.

Dr. Glasson has spent time working with various Olympic Sports teams including, women’s field hockey, women’s basketball and the U.S. women’s National soccer team while they claimed the gold medal in Athens, Greece.

Currently Dr. Glasson is the team physician for Old Dominion University Wrestling Team, Elizabeth City State University basketball, Virginia Rush Soccer Club and First Colonial and Princess Anne High Schools. She is also the medical director for the Breezy Point Triathlon, the Sandman Triathlon and the Rock and Roll Half Marathon.

Jameson Parker, PA-C, ATC

Jameson Parker, PA-C, ATC

Jameson is the current Physician Assistant at Glasson Sports Medicine. He is a native of Virginia Beach and graduated from Bayside High School in 2002. He then earned his undergraduate degree in Athletic Training from East Carolina University in 2006. After gaining certification, Jameson returned to Virginia Beach where he served as an Athletic Trainer for the Virginia Beach City Public School system for three years, while also working in the physical therapy clinic at Glasson Sports Medicine. Jameson then went on to receive his Masters of Physician Assistant Studies from Drexel University in 2011. He currently has been practicing for 1 and a half years.

Sandy Wasko, P.T.

Sandy Wasko, MPT

Sandy is currently the Director of Physical therapy at Glasson Sport Medicine. She attended Old Dominion University where she received both her undergraduate degree in Exercise Science and her Masterís Degree in Physical Therapy. She has been practicing as a Physical Therapist for over 12 years. Sandy specializes in evaluating the biomechanical deficit to treat the problem, not just the symptoms.

Megan Grable, DPT

Megan Grable, DPT

Megan received her Bachelorís Degree from Virginia Tech in 2006, and continued to Old Dominion University to earn her Doctorate in Physical Therapy in 2010. She has been practicing as a Physical Therapist for three years with expertise in diagnosing and treating sports-related injuries. Her passion for work comes from going beyond the symptoms and correcting the source of pain with a hands-on approach to improving patient function.

Christine Voigt

Christine Voigt, ATC

Chrissy attended West Chester University where she received her undergraduate degree in Athletic Training and Sports Nutrition and has been practicing as an athletic trainer for 7 years. She previously worked with the United States Women’s National Field Hockey team and is currently the head athletic trainer for Virginia Rush Soccer Club.

Mike Mosciano

Mike Mosciano, MA, ATC

Mike attended Loras College where he received his undergraduate degree in biology and continued on with his Masters degree in Physical Education and Biomechanics at Indiana State University. Mike has been practicing as an athletic trainer for 14 years and is currently the head Athletic Trainer for Salem High School.

Amber Whitney

Amber is a Virginia Beach native and graduated of First Colonial High School in 2005. She went on to attend Tidewater Community College as part of the Physical therapist assistant program and graduated in 2008. Amber has worked for Glasson Sports Medicine for 7 years, 2 as a Physical therapy technician and 5 as a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant.

Jaime is a Hampton Roads native and graduated from Hickory High School in 2006. She then attended James Madison University where she graduated with her Bachelors of Science degree in 2009. She later went on to Tidewater Community College where she received her Associates degree and became a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant in 2012. She has been working for Glasson Sports Medicine since that time.

Edmond Recel, LPTA

Edmond is a Virginia Beach native and graduated from Tallwood High School in 1997. He then attended Virginia Tech where he received his undergraduate degree in Business Information Technology in 2001. He later completed the Physical Therapist Assistant program at Tidewater Community College. Edmond has been practicing as a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant since joining Glasson Sports Medicine in 2012.

Quanita Bennett, LPTA

Quanita Bennett, LPTA

Quanita is a Virginia Beach native and graduated from Coastal Christian Academy in 2003. She then attended Ferrum College where she received her Bachelor's degree in Sports Medicine in 2008. In 2012 she completed her Associate's degree in Physical Therapy Assisting at Tidewater Community College and has been working as a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant at Glasson Sports Medicine since that time.

Amanda Priest, LPTA

Mandy is a Virginia Beach native and graduated from Kempsville High School in 2008. She studied Pre-Physical therapy at Bridgewater College before transferring to Tidewater Community College for the Physical Therapist Assistant Program. Upon graduating in 2012, she began working for Glasson Sports Medicine as a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant. She is currently working towards a Bachelorís Degree from Old Dominion University in Exercise Science with aspirations to continue on to a Masterís degree in a health related field.

Michelle Krueger, LPTA

Michelle Krueger, BS, LPTA, CTRS

Michelle attended Virginia Wesleyan College where she received her undergraduate degree in Recreational Therapy in 2007. She then continued on to receive her associates degree and P.T.A. license from Tidewater Community College in 2010. She has been practicing as a LPTA for 3 years now.
